Meet Joe

Joseph Cuomo is a family man with a natural talent for carpentry and construction. He learned many skills from his father at a young age and began fine-tuning his skills in the industry as an adolescent working for a commercial contractor in New York City.

By starting his own contracting business, he is living out his life-long goal and ambition of ‘Serving Others with Gratitude‘. Joseph believes it is his calling to help others in their ‘New Beginnings‘ and strives to show this to his clients through his work and interactions with them.

Joseph Cuomo works hard everyday to support his growing family of 5. One of his greatest rewards is seeing his clients’ lives change as their stress and concerns are replaced with a deep sense of satisfaction and joy over their transformed home and lifestyle.

My experience with Joe and New Beginnings Construction & Remodeling

I had him replace some old wood doors from when I originally bought our house. One was a basement door to garage. The door needed to be fabricated to fit. Since the basement ceilings are shorter than the standard 8ft. I also wanted it to be solid core, to help keep some of the garage cold air out. Joe found exactly what I was looking for and cut the door down to fit location.
The bigger job I had Joe do was a new slider and drainage in front of new sliding door. This door is fit perfectly between two rock walls and needed to be fabricated also to fit seamlessly. This required Joe having to grind down the rock walls to fit the door perfectly. He also needed to grind out the patio pavers down a good foot. Trench under the wall and the ground a few feet for the drainage pipe.
Joe was a pleasure to work with. Kept me involved in the process of the job. Joe was respectful and left the job site cleaned and organized at the end of each work day. I would definitely recommend New Beginnings Construction & Remodeling to friends and family!
